Winter Getaway
Our upcoming YAC Winter Getaway will be held on January 24-25, 2009 at Garland Resort in Lewiston MI. This year, we are offering a CE class – a loss control walkthrough of Garland instructed by Dave Walker (former YAC chair and current IIABA Director). Following class, YAC is hosting a networking reception. Come learn, and network with the YAC!

Winter turns into a magical season at Garland as Michigan’s finest golf resort is transformed into a wonderland of beauty, grace and charm. With more than 40 miles of the best groomed cross country ski trails in America and the finest snowmobiling in the Midwest, Garland proves once again that it is more than a great Michigan golf resort.
Beginning just after Christmas and lasting until March, we also offer ice skating, sledding, outdoor and indoor Jacuzzis, and our favorite — our magnificent horse drawn sleigh rides. If the weather won’t let you experience Michigan’s finest golf courses at our resort, then we have great alternatives!

This is a great laid back event. The class will be great. Everytime that MAIA offers this type of class they get nothing but rave reviews.
